Take Wellington Road off the Monash. Industrial estates on one side. New townhouses on the other.
Mulgrave has changed.
The flower farms that once filled this area are mostly gone — replaced by warehouses, distribution centres, wide roads. But people here remember.
We delivered to a new townhouse near Waverley Gardens last month. The card read: “For my grandmother. Her family used to grow flowers here.”
She was 92. Still sharp. She pointed toward the roundabout outside.
“All dahlias,” she said. “Rows and rows.”
We brought dahlias.
That’s Mulgrave. History carried in living memory.
Another delivery: a factory owner who orders every year for his assistant.
“She’s been with me 30 years,” he said. “She remembers when this was paddocks.”
We send something bright. Cheerful. Not too formal.
Mulgrave remembers when flowers grew here.
We keep them coming.
Same-day flower delivery to Mulgrave. Bright, generous bouquets crafted in Nunawading for homes, businesses, and long memories.
