Take the Bulleen Road exit, past the freeway, toward the flats where the Yarra bends.
The houses here are mixed — 1960s brick, newer townhouses, the occasional original weatherboard. Sports fields stretch along the river. Families have been here for generations, or arrived last year.
We delivered to a house near the Bulleen Plaza last month. The note said: "For the new baby. From the mothers' group."
