The Last 100 Metres — How We Deliver to Retirement Villages

The orders come from children who can’t visit as often as they’d like.

“For Mum. She likes pink.”
“For Dad. He doesn’t remember much, but he remembers flowers.”

We deliver to retirement villages across the east — Doncaster East, Park Orchards, Templestowe. Each one has its own door code, its own front desk, its own way of making sure flowers reach the right room.

Sometimes we leave them with staff. Sometimes we’re allowed to go further — down quiet corridors, past communal lounges, to a door with a small vase in the window.

One resident, a woman in her nineties, told us:
“My daughter lives overseas. She can’t visit. But the flowers come every month. That’s enough.”

We don’t just deliver to the village. We deliver the last 100 metres — to the window, to the table, to the place where they’ll be seen first thing in the morning.

That’s what love looks like from a distance — perfect for Mother’s Day flowers
